Purpose

Oratium needed a way to optimally organize, navigate and pull from hundreds to potentially thousands of resources for their presentation building application.

Concept

Design and develop a library of images, articles, stories, and quotes sorted by the topic.

First Client Meeting

During a client meeting we were able to create a rough concept design based off of needs expectations within the application. Later this was refined / simplified to the concept map below.

Left Bar Navigation

Since there are are hundreds if not thousands of individual resources it is important to give users a fixed navigation that gives them orientation within the application.

Related Topics for Desirable Actions

Since topics are the main action on this application, giving users an easy way to explore to similar topics was best practice.

Plain Language

Using real world conventions to match between the system and real world.

Simple interface

A simple and consistent UI allows users to use the application intuitively (recognition prioritized over recall)
